DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

The Department of Business Administration was started in the year 2005. The vision of the Department is ‘To give quality business education to serve the community by producing highly competent socially responsible graduates with values, knowledge and skills’. The objective of the Department is to strengthen the fundamentals that are required and very essential for students who are aspiring to be a part of the corporate and business world.

The students apart from being trained in academic excellence are also enabled to build their Professional skills through Industrial training, Industrial Visit and Guest Lectures arranged by the department The Department has four faculty members in core management disciplines and functional areas of management.

Eligibility for Admission: Candidates for admission to the first year of the Degree of Bachelor of Business Administration shall be required to have passed the Higher Secondary Examinations (Academic or Vocational Stream) conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu or an Examination accepted as equivalent thereof by the Syndicate of the University of Madras.

Course Highlight: Our Students undergo project work at reputed companies like Ashok Leyland, Hatsun Agro Pvt Ltd., Tamil Nadu Paper Ltd. (TNPL), Chennai Port Trust, Aavin, Lucas TVS, Wheels India etc. in the final year of graduation and gain real time corporate experience through the internship.

 Students Achievements: Our Students have actively participated and have won many prizes in Co-curricular activities like Paper Presentation, Best Manager, Ad zap and Extra Curricular activities like Sports and Culturals at Inter Department and Inter Collegiate Competitions.
